Buffalo Mac is a former outlaw turned family man. After his homestead is burned, he embarks on a journey to find the leader of the gang who did it, his former boss. Mac is joined by two companions along the lengthy journey to Oregon. Crazy Horse is a Native American traveler and warrior that befriends Mac through their mutual hatred for the outlaw gang that wronged them. The two meet Wayne, a coal miner and escaped slave, who helps them formulate a plan to assault the outlaw gang's hideout.

--THE ALBUM--

This concept album is two years in the making and the longest and most sprawling Kubes album to date. Crafted out of an idea born in 2020 with our songs "Lord of the Desert" and "Death Rides A Horse" on our first EP, these tunes were written to tell a concrete story of one man's revenge against a whole gang.

Through live performances, the hardest tunes were worked significantly to ensure a tight studio recording. Many of the songs were written to express our love for Western films and video games, and we wanted to make our musical equivalent that would stand on its own as a narrative.

Creating Western soundscapes through psychedelic rock was an early goal of ours, but never fully realized. We sought to make a true concept album after 'Discovery One' had a looser space concept feel. This record is the true successor to our early Western songs and our sophomore album.

Mixed and mastered in Nashville, Tennessee by Geoffrey Spaulding Rhythm tracks recorded at Jam House Records Studio A in Fort Worth, Texas. Additional overdubs recorded at Jam House Records Studio B in Saginaw, Texas. Additional rehearsals and songwriting done at Jam House West in an undisclosed location.
